Well, as you can see, both the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy A71 share a lot of similarities.
The biggest one of them is their Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor. Although, the Samsung device gets a one-up by having 2GB more memory. We’ve praised the reliable flagship-like performance of the Galaxy A71 in our gaming review.

Other than the bigger memory, the Samsung Galaxy A71 gives its users the ability to expand their storage with the inclusion of a microSD card slot, which can hold up to 512GB of external storage.
That’s a priviledge that’s missing on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite, and can be a bummer in the future if you plan on getting the 64GB model.

Those who’re into multitasking would also appreciate the Galaxy A71’s larger 6.7-inch display.
However, those who love binge-watching on Netflix might prefer the Mi Note 10 Lite’s HDR10 screen. It also has a tougher Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for those who have butterfingers, and curved corners for a sleeker look.

It may have a smaller screen, but it appears that the Mi Note 10 Lite is bulkier than the Galaxy A71. It weighs at 204g (vs 179g) and 9.7mm thick (vs 7.7mm).
The extra weight is forgivable due to its larger 5,260mAh battery, while the Galaxy A71 only has 4,500mAh. There’s also the faster 30W charging support to compliment it.

The cameras on these devices are pretty much the same on paper. They are led by a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front and 64-megapixel main shooter on the back. Although, the Mi Note 10 lite do have quad-LED flash, features that are missing on the Galaxy A71.

Obviously, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite wins this competition thanks to its bigger battery and faster charging, HDR10 display, and a cheaper price tag.
However, the lack of a microSD card slot for storage expansion might be a huge bummer for those who like hoarding apps, files, and images — especially since the 64-megapixel cameras take up too much space. If you see it as a future problem, then you might be better off with the Samsung Galaxy A71.
