Huawei introduces its latest products in the Philippines for work or learning — the Huawei MateStation S and Huawei Display. A desktop and monitor combo if you want a PC that works out of the box and can’t be bothered to build your own.
First, we have the Huawei MateStation S, powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G six-core CPU, with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, fast 256GB SSD storage, and AMD Radeon Vega Graphics.
The case looks pretty sleek, with diagonal lines on the front that provide aesthetic and airflow.
There’s the Huawei logo on the top left, adjacent to the power button on the right. We also have a headphone jack, USB-A, and USB Type-C on the front for easy access. The rest of the ports are on the back.
Huawei’s dedicated mouse and scissor-switch keyboard come free when you pre-order a unit. The latter has a fingerprint scanner built-in and Huawei’s Tap to connect feature, which lets you easily pair a Huawei smartphone by placing it on the top of the keyboard.
The MateStation S is best bundled with the Huawei Display 23.8-inch monitor. This 1080p screen has ultra-thin bezels, resulting in a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
It also has a 178-degree viewing angle, 72% NTSC color gamut coverage, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and TÜV Rheinland certification help eliminate blue light and flickers.
You can use the included stand, which offers -5 to 22-degree tilt, or VESA mount it yourself. On the back, there’s a 1x HDMI and 1x VGA port.
The Huawei MateStation S has a price of Php30,990 and comes with a free Huawei keyboard, mouse, and WiFi AX3, all valued at Php7,597 when you pre-order until March 25. The Huawei Display then costs Php7,999 and comes with a Huawei Gift Package worth Php2,999.
If you’re thinking of getting them at the same time, both units can be bundled for a lower price of Php35,990. Pre-ordering this bundle will entitle you to both of their freebies.
