Following an initial introduction during CES 2022, LG has finally announced its latest portable wireless touchscreen display—the LG StanbyME Go. Containing the compact monitor is also a carrying case that fits it snugly.

Inspired by the traditional briefcase, the carrying container comes with a handle on top for easy movability. Inside, the case has only enough space to squeeze into the monitor without causing any shake when being carried as well as another for accessories, such as the accompanying remote control.

Designed to also be wireless, the LG StanbyME Go can be used anywhere without relying on an active power source, thanks to its built-in battery that provides up to 3 hours of use.

LG’s latest portable monitor would be most renowned for its overall durability, with it having passed 11 types of tests from the US Department of Defense (Military Standard), which the company itself claims is excellent.

Turning on the StanbyME Go is as simple as opening its case, which automatically causes the device to boot up from a turned-off state—as such, there is no assembly or installation required.

With visibility amid changing angles, the 27-inch display monitor can be tilted up to 90 degrees and elevated to a height of up to 18 cm from the surface without losing visual clarity. Users can even switch between vertical or horizontal orientations when used like a traditional screen or in table mode where the monitor lays flat on any surface.

Lastly, it supports voice recognition, which allows the system to follow voice commands, such as changing volumes and channels through audio cues.

Debuting in its country of origin South Korea, the LG StanbyME Go will come at a price tag of 1.17 million won (US$ 884 / Rs. 73,125 approx.) and will become available starting June 7, 2023.
