The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Lite has been around for a couple of months now. This is one of the company’s offering to the saturated low-end smartphone market here in the Philippines. But with this new development, the device is going to be more competitive.
The company’s Philippine arm just announced that the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Lite is going to be Php1k cheaper from its original price. It’s now down to Php6,995 from its previous SRP of Php7,995.
Now that it is more affordable, the Zenfone 4 Max Lite becomes more appealing than ever. This thing comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. That’s the standard chipset that you’d find on most devices under this category.
But other than that, the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Lite actually has better features up its sleeves. Being an ASUS “Max” device, this thing has a large 4100mAh battery. The company also didn’t compromise in the camera department as they rigged it with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front and a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual setup at the back.
The display is an acceptable 5.2-inch HD IPS screen, comes with a fingerprint scanner, and a capable 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
Unfortunately, it only runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 interface. Hopefully, it gets updated to the latest OS version anytime soon.
