Several hours after the official introduction of the new Samsung Galaxy S20 series, last year’s Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus received price discounts of up to Php8,000 off in the Philippines.
It’s quite normal for company’s to lower the price of previous generation smartphones after new lineup has been unveiled. During the Unpacked launch event earlier today, Samsung revealed the price drops for the US.
As for Samsung Philippines, it didn’t take long as it also happened within the day. We spotted that the Samsung Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10‘s prices are now marked down in its official flagship store in Lazada.
We still don’t know if the change has been implemented in Samsung stores, kiosks, and authorized dealers in the Philippines already. But one thing’s for sure, it’s coming in the next couple of days. So, if you’re thinking of buying something from Samsung’s 2019 flagship lineup, buy it online or wait a little bit for the price drop.
