One of the most popular and nostalgic anime of the ’90s, Slam Dunk, has finally arrived in a streaming service thanks to Netflix.

Starting today, March 31, Slam Dunk is now available on Netflix.

The popular basketball anime was based on the manga of the same name written by Takehiko Inoue. The show first aired in 1993 and almost all of its 101 episodes were a hit, especially in the Philippines — a country that’s big on basketball.

It follows the story of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a gang leader and delinquent, who reluctantly joins his high school’s basketball team to impress the girl of his dreams, Haruko. Despite having no prior experience, Sakuragi proves to be a natural athlete and eventually fell in love with the game.
