The highly anticipated global release of “Honor of Kings” has finally arrived, bringing excitement to mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) enthusiasts. Known as the world’s most-played mobile MOBA, “Honor of Kings” is China’s largest mobile game, often compared to popular titles like “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” and “League of Legends: Wild Rift.” Developed by TiMi Studios, the same team behind “Arena of Valor,” this international adaptation is expected to be a massive success as well.
As of writing, “Honor of Kings” is now available in the globally, a move expected to boost its popularity even further. The game has already achieved over 10 million downloads and holds a 4.0-star rating on Google Play, despite not being accessible in all new launch regions until now.
Initially released in China in 2015, the game has also seen pre-release access in countries such as Turkey, Brazil, and several others. With today’s launch, “Honor of Kings” expands its availability to regions including Southeast Asia, North America, Japan, Europe, Korea, and Latin America.

New players have a unique opportunity with the game’s global release. For the first month, TiMi Studios and Level Infinite are offering nearly every hero in the game for trial, allowing players to experiment and find the character that best suits their play style. Currently, there are 122 heroes available, including a newly introduced hero, Sun Ce. It remains uncertain whether the remaining heroes from the Chinese version will be included in the global launch, but they are likely to be added over time.
Collaborations play a significant role in mobile games like “Honor of Kings,” and several partnerships are planned from the outset. These include collaborations with SNK, Bruce Lee, Saint Seiya, and Hello Kitty. Additionally, TiMi Studios has announced that 28 of the launch heroes can be unlocked by completing various in-game activities. Players can also earn 21 different skins for free.
