The Monster Hunter franchise has a history of mobile gaming adaptations. These games typically include role-playing elements identical to the main titles in the series. However, Capcom has now introduced a Monster Hunter mobile spin-off called “Monster Hunter Puzzles.”
Monster Hunter Puzzles integrates visuals from the Monster Hunter Stories games with match-3 mechanics, akin to titles like Bejeweled and Candy Crush. For gameplay, players are immersed in the Felyne Isles with the task of rescuing the island’s residents from menacing monsters. How? By matching tiles.
The Monster Hunter series offers a wide range of items such as weapons, consumables, and monsters that can be used to create combos. Players will face challenging battles against various monsters that pose a threat to the Felynes, characters borrowed from the Monster Hunter series.
Other additional features such as side-quests, collectable items, character customization, and leaderboards are also here. This new game is a follow-up to the Monster Hunter Stories port that was available for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter Puzzles is currently available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for free.
