PUBG Mobile’s recent update brings various new elements to the game and it can now be downloaded through the Android and iOS app stores. The update has a size of 1.98GB for Android and 2.45GB on iOS.
Tencent Games recently announced that they have now crossed 400 million downloads along with over 50 million daily users, excluding China. Those are outstanding numbers for a mobile game. With it’s rising and steady popularity, it’s only a matter time before players experience fatigue from the game. Until now, a new game mode was dropped in order to prevent said fatigue.
The new PUBG Mobile Deathmatch mode allows two squads of 4 players to battle it out with each other. A team gets 1 point for every kill they make and the first one to reach 40 points wins.
Players can decide whether they want to play the game mode in first or third person views. A game usually lasts 10 minutes and it’s fast paced as players have the ability to respawn limitlessly after their death. Along with this, players can also create their own rooms with room cards.
Aside from the new Team Deathmatch mode, a new Godzilla theme was also dropped. This is a result of the collaboration between PUBG and Godzilla: King of Monsters movie that recently premiered in various cinemas.
