Razer is venturing into a new product category. But just like all of their offering, the new Razer Raptor monitor will still run on a green, gamer DNA.
Announced at CES 2019, the new Razer Raptor gaming monitor spans at 27-inches and utilizes a WQHD IPS screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It also has an almost bezel-less look, which provides a really stylish aesthetic.
The back panel has a combination of fabric and metal material, while the base panel is, as expected, being lit by Razer Chroma LED strips.
Razer also got the cable management locked in on the Raptor. There’s a unique design on the back that can tuck in the included Razer green performance cables. Talk about attention to detail.
Speaking of which, the Razer Raptor has one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, two USB-A 3.1 ports, and a single USB-C with power delivery — all of which will have their dedicated Razer green cable included on the box.
The base stand allows you to tilt the device by up to 90-degrees so you can easily access the ports. Height adjustment is also viable.
As for the screen itself, the Razer Raptor has a fast refresh rate of 144Hz with a 1ms of response time and Motion Blur reduction. It has HDR support, 95% DCI-P3 coverage, and can light up by up to 420-nits of brightness.
The Razer Raptor will retail for USD699.99 (~Php36,700) and is expected to go on sale sometime this year in the United States and Canada.
