The all-new Steam Deck OLED has finally made its way to the Philippines right in time for the holiday season.
For a quick recap, the Steam Deck OLED offers a couple of improvements over the first generation. Obviously, there’s the more colorful and vibrant OLED screen, with a slightly larger viewable space of 7.4 inches (from 7 inches), a higher 90Hz refresh rate, dual ambient light sensor, and even HDR support at 1000-nits peak brightness.
Its AMD Zen 2 APU is now more efficient at 6nm and paired with a bigger 50Whr, expect a longer battery life of 3-12 hours (from 2-8 hours). It also ships with a longer 2.5m cable.
This one is also lighter at 640g (from 669g), has better and more precise trackpads; and thumbsticks with better material, shape, and touch detection. It runs on SteamOS 3 and 16GB of LPDDR5 memory.
The new model was also upgraded to WiFi 6e tri-band, and Bluetooth 5.3, has a better bass response and has a new feature where the onboard mic and 3.5mm headphone mic can work simultaneously for better voice capture.
DataBlitz has listed the Steam Deck OLED for a price of Php39,995 for the 512GB and Php49,995 for the 1TB. You can pre-order via their official website.
