The thought of cross-platform gaming might have been far-fetched not long ago. But thanks to the success of video games such as Fortnite, Rocket League and Minecraft it might become the new gaming trend.

There are already a lot of game titles that are cross-playable on Xbox, PS4, Windows PC, etc. So much so that we were able to create a list of the top 10 cross-platform games for 2019.

1. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG

Yes, you’ve read that right. PUBG will begin having cross-play capabilities in September.

Unfortunately, the cross-platform gameplay is only limited between the PS4 and the Xbox One. So if you’re a PC player, you might be waiting a while before playing with PS4 and Xbox users. It is said that the matchmaking time will also be greatly shortened due to the increased pool of players.

2. Fortnite

Fortnite is one of the most popular games that feature cross-platform play. The game can be played on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mobile and PC. Which makes sense since it’s a worldwide phenomenon.

The game is currently on its 10th season and is still going strong. There were reports earlier this year that Apex Legends might’ve been able to beat Fortnite as the Number 1 game but it looks like that’s not happening.
