The Xbox Series S, the cheaper option of Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, just got a new special variant.
Microsoft has announced the new Xbox Series S 1TB, which offers almost twice the storage capacity of the standard initial 512GB version. What’s more, it comes in a fresh new Carbon Black color, so your friends know you’re rocking the fancier model.

The new Series S 1TB in Carbon Black has a price of USD349 (~Php19,500), which is just USD50 (~Php2,800) higher than the 512GB model. It will be available in select markets starting September 1.
But if you already have one and you want to up the storage, well, now is the time to upgrade as brands like Western Digital are offering expandable storage drives for the Xbox for as low as USD79 (~Php7,700) for the 512GB model and USD150 (~Php8,400) for the 1TB.
During the announcement, Xbox also introduced the new Starfield-themed controller and headset that’s based on Bethesda’s upcoming open-world RPG game.
The new Starfield Xbox Series X/S wireless controller costs USD79 (~Php7,700) while the Starfield Xbox Headset retails for USD129 (~Php7,200). The company also said that they will be increasing shipments for the Series X to meet demand.
