HoYoverse (formerly MiHoYo) has a new game in the works, adding to its existing portfolio that comprises Genshin Impact and the Honkai series.

Dubbed Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse announced the game on Friday, which comes alongside a trailer video showcasing a few minutes of the developing title’s artistic direction. While the game does not yet have a release date, the developer is now taking registrations for its closed beta testing, which will be limited to iOS and PC.

As per the announcement, the game is set in an apocalyptic setting involving something referred to as “Hollows”—portals that bridge the space between our world and that of another dimension.

This uncanny link brought creatures called the Ethereal into the world and destroyed most human civilizations. Those left alive survive by harnessing available resources and technology from the said enemies.

Meanwhile, players take on the role of Proxy who helps other people navigate their way around Hollows. However, players are not alone in their adventure as there are other characters to form a party with.
