Under Republic Act (RA) No. 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act of 2020, the national government vows to provide Php5,000 to Php8,000 emergency salary subsidies to 18 million low-income families affected by the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said that qualified households will receive emergency assistance both in cash and in kind for two months from April to May 2020.

The amount that the vulnerable sector will receive vary depending on the region where they live. As provided by Joint Memorandum Circular No.1, the cash assistance was based on the existing minimum wage rates of the region.

The DSWD stressed that the Local Government Unit (LGU) must prepare the list with complete documents of the target recipients. The LGU should then turn over the said documents to the DSWD Field Office for confirmation and verification. Once done, that’s the only time that the national government will release the budget.

If you’re a recipient of the emergency subsidy program, check the table below to know how much you’ll be receiving.
