The new eTravel website was announced to replace the One HealthPass and arrival card for travelers coming to the country.

eTravel is a project led by the Department of information and Communications Technology (DICT) and can be accessed through the etravel.gov.ph website. The goal is to unify various systems and forms from different agencies that are required when traveling to the country. That includes the controversial One Health Pass, which incoming travelers need to accomplish before entering the Philippines.

This new website removes the need for travelers to fill up Immigration Arrival Cards and health declaration forms manually. The DICT said it will now use the same data to provide the said information to the Department of Tourism and Department of Transportation.

In terms of speed, DICT undersecretary David Almirol said that eTravel can process more than 3,000 travelers per minute. The website is now live.

Almirol added that the website will soon be able to replace Customs Declaration in airports and seaports.

The ICT department will also team up with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) to further improve the system.
