In terms of size and design, it’s undeniable that the iPhone SE 2020 is almost a carbon copy of the iPhone 8. The difference can be seen in on the back panel, which looks like something from the iPhone XR.
Up front, the iPhone SE 2020 features a 4.7-inch LCD display and Touch ID for security. Thick bezels on the top and bottom are also present, which is one of Apple’s distinct design tracing back from the iPhone 6.
Based on a teardown ideo by a Chinese YouTuber, the iPhone 8 and iPhone SE 2020 are pretty identical inside.

The frame and most of the components used on the iPhone SE 2020 are the same as the iPhone 8, aside from a few differences. For instantce, the WiFi chip, modem, and battery connector have ben upgraded to something from the iPhone 11. The flashlight setup is a little different, too.
Probably the main differentiating factor is the chipset and rear camera module used. The new iPhone SE 2020 features the newer A13 Bionic processor similar to the iPhone 11 series.
A lot of the components used in both phones are actually interchangeable. For example, the front panel of the iPhone 8 fits perfectly on the iPhone SE 2020.
The new Apple iPhone SE 2020 is priced at Php26,490 in the Philippines.
