Acer Spin 1 - NoypiGeeks

Acer can’t wait for Computex for this one. The company just released the new Acer Spin 1, a compact 2-in-1 hybrid laptop. Designed for the creatives, the Spin 1 looks like Acer’s subtle take on the lavish Microsoft Surface Pro.

The Spin 1 is a budget laptop that’s also meant for casual doodlers. The hybrid laptops are said to be compatible with the Acer Active Stylus – but just like the Surface Pro, the accessory would be sold separately. You’ll have to pay a USD49.99 premium to have the pen for this canvass.

Just like other 2-in-1s, the Acer Spin 1 also has a 360-degree hinge. This allows the user to orient the device at a comfortable position, either you’re drawing or watching a movie. And for a better viewing angle, it has an IPS display. It will be available on both 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch variants as well.

The screen is also safety guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass and has an Acer Bluelight Shield, which protects the eyes from the harmful effects of blue light.

The other features will depend on the model that the consumer will pick. For one, you can either opt for an Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium processors. It will also have different storage options. Basically, the power is in the buyer’s hands.
