ASUS Philippines just launched two new fancy and powerful laptops in the country: the ROG Strix Scar 17 SE and Flox X16.
The new ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 SE 2022 is powered by the latest 65W 12th-gen Intel Core i9-12590HX CPU, paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti that has a maximum TGP of 175W, and a special MUX switch.
It is paired with a generous 17-inch display with a WQHD resolution, fast 240Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and Adaptive Sync. Audio is handled by the Dolby Atmos-powered speakers.
All of its power is crammed inside a cyberpunk-inspired design, RGB lighting, and customizable armor caps. You can even expose it to UV light to reveal the unique green and blue ink with hidden messages.
You can get the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 SE in two variants. There’s the G733CX-LL032WS with an RTX 3080Ti for a price of Php249,995. There’s also the G733CW-LL007WS with an RTX 3070Ti for Php204,995. They will be available starting September with a free ROG Backpack, Chakram Core gaming mouse, USB Type-C PD adapter, and MS office.

Next stop, we have the ASUS ROG Flow X16, which boasts a 360-degree hinge and works with XG mobile for external GPUs of up to a Radeon RX 6850M XT. Not that the hardware is bad, as it already comes with an RTX 3060 GPU with MUX switch and an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor.
The screen itself is quite interesting. Dubbed the ROG Nebula Display, this 16-inch QHD panel uses mini LED technology, has a 165Hz refresh rate, 1100-nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
You can get the ASUS ROG Flox X16 GV601RM-M5127WS for a price of Php164,995. It comes with a free ROG Impact Gaming Mouse, ASUS Pen, Type-C PD adapter, and MS office.
