ASUS clearly has a strong presence here in the Philippines. The Taiwanese company brought quite a number of their products here in the country in the last couple of months. From their high-end smartphones, the low-end ones, high-end laptops. And now, we have their new budget-friendly notebooks, the ASUS VivoBook E12 and E402.

Both the new ASUS VivoBook E12 and E402 were launched together with the new ZenBook Flip machines. But since those ZenBook’s were aimed at the high-end market, these new VivoBook notebooks are here to cater those who are in the budget category.

Both the VivoBook E12 and E402 are going to be your straight up, no bells and whistles, no 360-degree flips notebooks. They have modestly-sized screens at a decent resolution, a processor that is meant for day-to-day tasks, and a compact, portable build.
