Dell’s popular laptop line, the XPS 15 and XPS 17, just got a refresh for 2022.

The new Dell XPS 15 and XPS 17 2022 models are essentially the same as their predecessors. Only this time, they come with newer and more powerful Intel 12th-Gen CPUs.

You can get the two with Intel Core i5-12500H 12-core, Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core, or the top-tier Intel Core i9-12900HK 13-core CPU. You can pair them with up to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage.

Both variants can be had with a 1920 X 1200 display or a 3840 x 2400 touchscreen. The smaller 15.6-inch variant can be even paired with a sharp 3426 x 2160 resolution with a vibrant OLED touchscreen panel.

Besides the size, the key differentiating factor between the two is the GPU options. The XPS 15 top-model comes with a GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU, while the bigger XPS 17’s highest model is rigged with an RTX 3060 chip. However, they do both come with integrated graphics and RTX 3050 options.

Users can choose between Windows 11 Home or Pro versions. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are also onboard.

For ports, the duo comes with one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 that has support for DisplayPort and PowerDelibery, a full-size SD card reader, 3.5mm headphone combo jack, wedge-shaped lock slot, and two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C. The 17-inch model gets an extra USB-C 3.2 Gen 2. Neither have HDMI, but Dell is bundling an adapter for free.

The Dell XPS 15 has a starting price of USD1,449 (around Php75,600) while the Dell XPS 17 begins at USD1,849 (around Php96,500).
