LG has officially entered the gaming laptop business with the new UltraGear 17G90Q.
The LG UltraGear 17G90Q is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake chipset and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU. In terms of memory, there’s an option between 16GB and 32GB RAM and up to 1TB M.2 NVME storage.
The display is an IPS LCD panel with a size of 17.3-inch and 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It has a refresh rate of 300Hz, 99% sRGB coverage, and 1ms response time. The laptop packs a 93Wh battery, weighs 2.64kg, and is 21.4mm at its thickest point.

There’s multiple connectivity options: USB 3.2, USB Type-C, USB-PD, Thunderbolt 4, Ethernet, HDMI, microSD slot, headphone jack, and DC-in power. It also has WiFi 6, DTS X Ultra, 1080p webcam, vapor chamber cooling system, and UltraGear Studio software.
The LG UltraGear 17G90Q will initially be available in South Korea and US next year. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
