Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, a new thin and lightweight laptop equipped with the newest Intel Evo 12th generation Intel Core processors, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB NVMe SSD.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro will be available in two sizes: 15.6-inch and 13.3-inch models. Both laptops come with a Super AMOLED Full HD screen as well as Graphite and Silver color options. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro has Wi-Fi 6E and 5G (on the 15-inch), so users can work and play anywhere they are in the world.
Consumers can choose between Intel Core i5 and i7 configurations, depending on their needs. An Intel Iris X is included with the 13-inch variant, while the 15-inch is powered by Iris X and Intel Arc graphics. For memory, there’s an option of 8/16/32GB LPDDR5 and up to 1TB storage.
The bigger 15-inch model is equipped with better 5W stereo speakers, compared to the slightly weaker 4W on the 13-inch. In addition, both support Dolby Atmos and are tuned and optimized by AKG.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro features a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB 3.1 port, headphone & microphone port, microSD slot, and USB-C port. It also has 65W USB Type-C charging and a dedicated HDMI port for the 15-inch. Security-wise, consumers can use a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key.
Samsung will take pre-orders for the new Galaxy Book 2 Pro beginning March 18, 2022, and it will be available on April 1. Price starts at $1,049.99.
