Both the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are currently fighting the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in terms of popularity. And that’s for good reason because based on their official prices here in the Philippines, they seem to offer a more appealing value for the money.
As if the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro aren’t enticing enough, the company has announced a trade-in program that allows you to get these new smartphones at a more affordable price.
With the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro trade-in program, you can swap your old smartphone to get discounts on Huawei’s new flagship devices. The best part is you can trade in more than one device, for as long as it’s included in the provided list below.
- Apple iPhone 5s and newer
- Huawei Nova 2i
- Huawei P9 and newer
- Huawei Mate 8 and newer
- Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro
- Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and newer
- Samsung Galaxy S6 and newer
- Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and newer
A third-party agent will evaluate the condition of the traded device. Afterward, the appraised value will be discounted to the original price of the chosen P20 device.
As a bonus, Huawei will deduct an additional Php4,000 during the promo period on April 28 — the exact launch date of the P20 and P20 Pro in the Philippines. For a reference, the Huawei P20 will retail for a price Php34,990, while the Huawei P20 Pro costs Php44,990.
The trade-in promo is available in Huawei concept stores in SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Cebu, SM Davao, and SM Dasmariñas. You can also trade-in your device at Huawei’s kiosk in SM Pampanga. For more details, check out Huawei’s website here.
