Apple ended 2024 strong by dominating the Q4 smartphone shipment rankings by Canalys.
As per Canalys, Apple secured the top spot by owning 23% of the market share, beating all Android vendors. Canalys attributed iPhones‘ success to its growth in emerging markets in Southeast Asia and India.

They are followed by Chinese tech giant Xiaomi with 13%, TRANSSION (Infinix, TECNO, Itel) at 8%, and vivo, also at 8%.

Canalys highlighted how the overall smartphone market achieved a 3% increase in numbers compared to the quarter before and an impressive 7% increase than the same quarter the year before.
