Now here’s something new – amidst all the Android devices being released by Cherry Mobile this year is a smartphone that’s powered by Windows Phone OS: the Cherry Mobile Alpha Luxe.

The Cherry Mobile Alpha Luxe is a 5-inch smartphone running on Windows Phone 8.1. It employs a humble Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor (the same chip that powers the Nokia Lumia 530 and Huawei Ascend G6), along with Adreno graphics and 1GB of RAM.

There’s 8GB on storage onboard for apps and media files, with up to 32GB expansion via a microSD slot. Meanwhile, the Cherry Mobie Alpha Luxe’s imaging department offers an 8-megapixel camera at the back of the phone and a 2-megapixel counterpart in front. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. The Alpha Luxe is also dual SIM capable.
