Cherry Mobile Excalibur Unofficially Revealed with Octa Core CPU and HD Screen!

The Cherry Mobile Cosmos One was a great smartphone that went on sale for only one day in celebration of the local brand’s 5th year anniversary. I’m sure many of you missed out on it, which is why the Cherry Mobile Excalibur, a new offering from the brand, may scratch your budget octa-core itch!

Many of the Cherry Mobile Excalibur specs are similar to what the Cosmos One offered. You’re getting a 1.4GHz MT6592M octa-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and a full suite of wireless connectivity options topping out at HSPA+.

There are a few differences though. For one thing, the Excalibur’s HD IPS screen is smaller at 5 inches. However, it makes up for it in the camera department. Instead of the Cosmos One’s 8mp shooter, you’re getting a 13mp autofocus camera with a Sony IMX 179 BSI sensor! At the same Php6,999 price tag, I’d probably pick the Excalibur over the Cosmos One because the screen is just the right size.

If he has it, there’s a good chance it’s already available elsewhere.
