Huawei has launched a new, aggressively priced smartphone for consumers who don’t to be tethered to carrier contracts. For only $179.99, the Huawei SnapTo is factory unlocked and offers a full-featured Android experience.
The Huawei SnapTo features Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI custom skin on top. It has a 5-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor. One notable feature is its ability to launch its camera software quickly (aka Ultra Snapshot) with a simple double-press of the lower volume button. Its back cover uses a faux-leather texture for a premium look and feel in spite of its relatively affordable price. It’s also quite fast in transmitting data because of its 4G LTE connectivity.
