Three of Lenovo’s new smartphones are now available in the Philippines. The Lenovo A526, S660, S860 cost Php6,299, Php10,299, and Php15,999, respectively.

Lenovo A526: responsive 4.5″ smartphone

Most affordable of the three, the Lenovo A526 belongs to the A Series of budget smartphones. Packed with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, this handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

Dual SIM capable, the A526 offers 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with 32GB microSD expansion, and a pair of fixed-focus cameras—0.3 megapixels in front, 5 megapixels at the back. Its further crammed with a Li-Po 2000mAh replaceable battery, HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Its SRP is Php6,299, which is close to the price we mistook the Lenovo A859 would sell for.

Lenovo S660: premium meets affordable

Lenovo S660

If you’re looking for a premium smartphone without a hefty price, then the Lenovo S660 is right up your alley. For Php10,299, this 4.7-inch device boasts qHD screen resolution, Mali 400 graphics, 1GB of RAM, and a brushed metal exterior. It has a better rear-facing camera (8 megapixels, autofocus), bigger battery capacity, and larger internal storage.

Finally, the Lenovo S860 comes with an official price of Php15,999. While it’s also powered by a quad-core processor and come with a very similar set of connectivity options, it’s more superior in terms of display quality (5.3-inch high-definition IPS LCD), amount of RAM (2GB), and camera performance (8-megapixel rear sensor with autofocus and LED flash). But what really sets it apart is its all-day battery life. Combined with USB OTG support, this large battery capacity can be used to charge other devices.

All three devices run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The Lenovo S860, however, has been confirmed to receive a 4.4 KitKat upgrade.
