List of Samsung devices with confirmed future Android 4.4 KitKat update

As seen in the list above, Samsung obviously has made its high-end device portfolio a priority over others. Nevertheless, the list does show the company’s commitment to keep many devices up to date. As such, the Light and the Mega smartphones have also been blessed to receive a software upgrade.

Apart from listing the confirmed devices, Samsung has not specified the exact dates on when it will roll out Android 4.4 KitKat to its devices. The company only mentioned updates being available depending on carrier and product, with ETA possibly going on for months.

For HTC device owners, HTC has a software update page that lists the status of phones getting Android 4.4 KitKat, alongside a diagram of how updates are rolled out.
