MyPhone Agua Iceberg mini, MyPhone Cyclone, MyPhone Storm spotted

Three new MyPhone smartphones seem to be heading our way this Christmas season. Though official announcements are yet to be made, the new MyPhone Agua Iceberg mini, Cyclone, and Storm have already been spotted in a store poster ad.

Cheapest of the new models, the MyPhone Storm only costs Php2,988. It sports a 4-inch IPS LCD, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, and 3.2MP rear- and VGA front-facing cameras. Meanwhile, the MyPhone Cyclone can be had for Php6,988. It comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD with qHD resolution and a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Paired with a 2MP front shooter, the rear camera this time has autofocus and can capture photos of up to 8 megapixels resolution.

Costing buyers the most (Php12,388) is the upcoming MyPhone Agua Iceberg mini. Like the former two, this smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Touting a 5-inch IPS LCD with full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 2 for scratch resistance, the Iceberg mini is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. There’s also a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.

Note that all specs and price above have yet to be confirmed by MyPhone, so take them with a grain of salt. All three models are said to also come equipped with the company’s proprietary anti-theft feature, the Theft Apprehension Asset Recovery (TARA), which causes the phones to shout out “Magnanakaw!” and become inoperable when stolen.

TechConnectPH took the liberty of uploading a picture of the poster, which was apparently displayed at a retail branch Automatic Centre in a SM shopping mall. Also included in the catalog are the already-announced MyPhone Agua Iceberg (5.7-inch IPS LCD, 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz MT6589 processor) and MyPhone Agua Rain 2G (3.5-inch touchscreen, 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1GHz MT6572M processor).

Automatic Centre is reportedly selling the units at 0% interest on selected credit cards. They will also bundle gift certificates for the purchases.
