A couple of images of what seem to be the iPhone 6 and its hardware components have recently spread all over the Internet. But even though the design is quite Apple-esque, these are simply renderings by a certain Martin Hajek.
Simply put, they’re fake. As pointed out by a Reddit user, Hajek edited the photos with smudge textures to make them more believable. Sadly, he also used the same photo editing technique for his iPad rendering, which he previously posted on Flickr.
Nevertheless, these fake images come with features that have been reported to come with the iPhone 6. There’s the TouchID sensor from the iPhone 5S, but also notice how the bezels got thinner to give space to a larger screen.
So, while we wait for a real leak to come up (or the actual, official unveiling itself), take a gander at these concept videos—retinal scanner and wraparound display.
