To Xiaomi Mi 4 (LTE version) users who want to take a break from the Android experience, you can now switch to Windows 10.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 is more than one year old, but its hardware specs still pack a punch against contemporary smartphones. That the phone now gives users an additional choice in the software platform renews its appeal and usefulness for longer. Windows 10 for mobile devices may not be as mature as the Android platform, but it also has its own advantages.

And of course, if the Windows environment turn out to be not suited for the needs of adopters and testers, these users can always go back to Android by reflashing the MIUI.

Late last month, Xiaomi announced a device with a version that also runs Windows 10—the tablet Mi Pad 2. With Mi 4 in tow, it looks like the Chinese company has more plans for Microsoft’s operating system.
