They say that one when door closes, another one opens.

Zomato choosing to soon close its “Pro” program has undeniably broken the hearts of many of its subscribers, no thanks to the privileges that will be removed with the consumers’ eating habits.

If anything, the idea is akin to the pain of having an incomplete meal due to the apparent lack of sweet treats—something which the food lovers at Foodpanda would know all too well, if they’re in the same shoes.

Where Zomato has chosen to give up from, Foodpanda, however, is willingly taking over as it offers a similar program that its competitor once held—the PandaPro.

For existing—and soon non-existing—subscribers of its competition’s program, the Panda Pro should be a relatively familiar option. It is, in fact, synonymous in every way, except that there’s a different but equally established Foodpanda to back it up.

For a measly Php50 per month, Panda Pro is offering its subscribers the following advantages:

  • Free delivery from all shops and restaurants on the first 5 orders per month
  • 20% discount from across 2,500+ restaurants
  • 10% discount on all shops
  • Additional 5% discount for all pickup orders

The Foodpanda Panda Pro benefits immediately apply to subscribers, particularly on orders that meet the minimum purchase requirements.
