Google’s first foldable phone has been running around the rumor mill for a couple of months. Now, the company has finally confirmed its existence and even graced us with a short clip that showcases its design.

The first Google Pixel Fold will inherit the same form factor as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Find N2, and Mate X3. It boasts a tablet-like foldable main display that’s about 7 inches, with a tall cover display that’s about 6.5 inches.

As for the design, well, it looks similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, especially from the camera layout on the back and the color hues. It will also be powered by the same Google-made Tensor G2 processor. Rumor has it that it will be available in the United States for a price of USD1,799 (~Php99,300).

The device will be announced at the annual Google I/O event happening on May 10. Unlike previous years, hardware will be the highlight of this year’s developer conference as the company is expected to also launch the first Pixel Tablet and the Pixel 7a.
