Huawei is rapidly climbing up the ranks in the list of the world’s leading brand consulting firm.
For the third consecutive year in a row, Huawei has made great improvements since becoming the first ever mainland Chinese brand to join the prestigious list back in 2014.
Interbrand reports that Huawei is gaining momentum in its quest of digital transformation and building a better-connected world by integrating it through their enhanced networks.
Huawei’s brand value has been steadily increasing and it’s currently at 14% growth over the past year, primarily because of its widening reach in the consumer electronics market. The company has managed to ship over 70 million units on the first six (6) months of 2017, and it has resulted to an impressive 20.6% year-on-year increase.
IDC crowned Huawei as the biggest smartphone manufacturer in China and the third largest for the rest of the world in their recent report for Q2 2017.
Aside from the Interbrand Best Global Brands, Huawei was also listed in the latest Fortune 500, cracking the top 100 for the first time ever — jumping from 129 to 83.
