iPhone-SE-3-2022-NoypiGeeks

It may not be Apple’s most talked-about smartphone, but the iPhone SE is actually one of its most popular products.

In fact, the iPhone SE 2020 — a device that uses the iPhone 8’s compact body with the iPhone 11’s modern A13 Bionic processor — was on the tenth spot in terms of revenue share in Q1 of 2021 as per Counterpoint Research.

This is why it’s no surprise that there are rumors that Apple plans on following it up.

As per industry sources that are related to Apple’s supply chain, the company is preparing for early 2022 reveal for the iPhone SE 3, or iPhone SE (2022) as what Apple may actually probably call it.

It’s said that the tech giant is already hiring new chip probing specialists through its partner, Xintec.

Xintec, a subsidiary of TSMC, is a company behind the quality testing process. They’ve been partners with Apple for a long time as they supplied them the components for the first and second iPhone SE.

This new information corroborates with Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction that Apple is indeed going to release a new iPhone SE successor in the first half of 2022.
