One of Xiaomi’s popular budget phones today, the Redmi Note 10S, is getting a new colorway.
In a Twitter post, the company confirmed that a Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple is coming soon. No word for the official release yet, but it should arrive in the coming weeks.
If you remember, the Note 10S was introduced boasting a MediaTek Helio G95 octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also a vibrant 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It also has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. It runs on the company’s latest Android 11-based MIUI 12 interface.
On the back, there’s a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro, and a depth sensor. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as the lock/power switch.
Once the Starlight Purple arrives, it will be joining the existing color options: Pebble White, Onyx Gray, and Lake Green, which are now available in the Philippines for Php11,990.
