OPPO has sent official media invites on the upcoming launch of the latest #SelfieExpert.
The OPPO F9 is the successor of the incredibly popular OPPO F7 which was launched in PH back in October last year. While we still don’t have lots of information regarding the F9’s hardware, we do know some of the facts that the company has teased.
VOOC fast charging technology is finally arriving in the F-series, so this means that it will be able to fill-up its battery in a snap. In promotional posters, OPPO has confirmed that a 5-minute charge of the OPPO F9 Pro can last for up to 2 hours of talk time.
The screen is expected to stay at a size of around 6-inches with a Full HD+ pixel resolution. Unlike the OPPO Find X‘s seamless screen, the notch is still here for the midrange market, albeit significantly smaller.
OPPO is also expected to launch a Pro version of the F9, moving away from the previous setup where the model of the F7 was only indicated by the amount of its RAM and storage. As of now, there’s no mention of a ‘Youth’ variant. However, we still expect it to come at a later date.
Rumors say that the OPPO F9 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage. The dual-camera configuration on the back is nothing but confirmed and it’s going to be the first-ever F-series phone to have it.
