OPPO has announced its three-year strategic partnership with renowned pro-camera maker Hasselblad.
The partnership happened after OPPO and OnePlus merged to share research and development resources to “maximize efficiency and improve user experience.”

OnePlus has been working with Hasselblad in their recent flagships like the OnePlus 10 Pro. Now, Hasselblad will also help develop new camera technologies for OPPO’s flagship line, the Find X series.
The partnership will focus on camera color performance, something that Hasselblad is known for. Both OPPO and Hasselblad will have R&D collaboration to help develop advanced imaging solutions.
Dubbed as the OPOP | Hasselblad Camera for Mobile, the result of the collaboration aims to give users more natural colors and a refined imaging experience on their phones.
“Leveraging Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad, OPPO also targets to bring the most natural skin tone possible to its portrait photography.” The press release added.
We should see the Hasselblad branding on the next OPPO Find device, the rumored Find X5 Pro, which may arrive sometime this year. It will have a similar look to the X3 Pro, retaining that distinct seamless camera bump.
