Kodak is back in the mainstream audience with the help of OPPO.
A tipster suggests that OPPO is working with Kodak to create a smartphone that pays homage to the prominent brand’s classic camera design (pictured below).
The rumored device will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with a 1/1.5-inch size. Like the Find X3 Pro, the same sensor will be used for its ultra-wide lens.
It will also copy the X3 Pro’s 13-megapixel telephoto lens that can do 2x optical zoom and a 3-megapixel microscope lens.
Other than that, no other details are known about the device. However, this is a reaffirmation that Kodak is teaming up with smartphone brands to bring its name into the mainstream tech seen.
If you remember, back in July, a Realme VP — from OPPO’s sister company — teased an upcoming Realme smartphone with Kodak technology.
No word yet when these OPPO and Realme devices are coming out. Chances are, these flagships will arrive right in time for Christmas.
