Both OPPO and Realme, sister companies, are promising strong smartphone line-up for 2020.
The duo said that they’ll be one of the first brands to sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 765G processors.
OPPO said that they will have 5G-ready smartphones that are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship processor as early as the first quarter of 2020. The company is also preparing a follow up to the OPPO Find X, which will be powered by this latest chipset.
They will also be launching the upcoming OPPO Reno 3 Pro this December 2019, which will come with a 5G-integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. Making it the first dual-mode 5G device from the company.
Meanwhile, Realme Chief Marketing Officer, Xu Qi Chase, said that they will be the first to come up with Snapdragon 865 and 765G smartphones. However, the company hasn’t provided us with an exact device name yet.
But other than the two brands, there are also other Android OEMs who confirmed that they are already working on smartphones that will have these latest processors.
One of which is Xiaomi, who said that they’ll be using the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor to their upcoming flagship for 2020 — the Xiaomi Mi 10, a follow-up to the now more affordable Mi 9.
We shall hear more about these processors in the coming weeks, especially when we jump into the year of 2020.
