Several of our favorite online destinations have been implementing all sorts of security measures just to protect our profiles, and yet many of us are so unconcerned about potential identity thefts and account hacks. Such level of indifference is quite reflected by the top three common passwords of 2013: “123456,” the word “password” itself, and “12345678.”
Indeed, it is quite easy for hackers to gain access to several accounts. After all, security is something many people take for granted until they’ve already become a victim of a hack. If you happen to use those keywords above (or the ones below that make up the rest of the top 25 common passwords), we suggest you change your password as soon as possible.
