Xiaomi’s POCO line is getting a new member with the POCO F2.
If you remember, the Pocophone F1 became an instant hit when it came out three years ago. Since then, we’ve seen the POCO F2 Pro, POCO X3 NFC, POCO M2, and POCO smartphones, but no sign of the POCO F2 — not until now.
The POCO F2 made a very brief, blink-or-you’ll-miss-it cameo in a 2020 wrap-up video posted on POCO India Twitter account. At the 45-second mark of the video above, you can spot a frame that says “Thank you.. for the F2”.
Other than that, no information about the device has been revealed yet. However, unlike the F1, the POCO F2 will not come with a flagship processor. Rumor has it that this device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, and a 4,250mAh battery with reverse charging support.
It shall also have other features that the POCO X3 NFC has. In our full review, we praised its 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, a macro lens, and depth sensor. It should also have a 20-megapixel selfie camera, 33W fast charging, and may ship with MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
Again, these are just rumors so take them with a grain of salt. We’ll give you the release date once it’s been revealed, so stay tuned for that.
