The official release date for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series have been finally set.

In a post on their social media accounts, the company revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series would be announced in a Galaxy Unpacked event happening on January 14, 2021. Just like all tech events last year, this will be a livestream-only event happening on the samsung.com website.

Like the Galaxy S20 series, we expect this year’s flagship to come in three flavors: Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. They will feature a new design on the back, with the camera glass melting on the device’s corners. It will then come in the new Phantom Pink and Phantom Violet colors, with a fingerprint-free matte finish.

All models will be launched alongside the new Exynos 2100 that they will be powering on. Albeit, the United States market might still get the new Snapdragon 888 variant.

The Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will have FHD+ LTPS screens and triple rear cameras, while the top-tier Ultra model will have a bigger and sharper 6.8-inch WQHD+ screen, a fourth camera, and a new 108-megapixel main shooter. All of them will have a 120Hz refresh rate. You can learn more about these devices here.
