Xiaomi has begun introducing the Redmi 13 series starting with an entry-level device, the Redmi 13C.
The new Redmi 13C is powered by a decent MediaTek Helio G85 processor. You can even get it with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
It has a large 6.74-inch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, but only with an HD+ resolution.
There’s a waterdrop notch on top of the display for the 5-megapixel selfie camera, while on the back, we have a 50-megapixel main camera joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
It then has 18W charging support for the 5,000mAh battery. Software is handled by the Android 13-based MIUI 14.
Other notable inclusions are the Corning Gorilla Glass on the front, TUV Rheinland certification for low-blue light and flicker-free, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi 13C is now up on the Xiaomi Global website with the official price and availability in markets like the Philippines yet to be announced.
