Samsung has a new midrange smartphone and India is the first country to get it. This is the new Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime.
It has been spotted on Amazon India, however, the “Purchase” button is not available yet. Although the price hasn’t been revealed yet, the listed specs do suggest that it will be budget-friendly.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will have the same chipset found on the Galaxy J7 Core. It is an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung also notes that it will be available in a 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM configuration.
In front, the handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, and an all-metal unibody build. At the back, there’s a 13-megapixel primary camera. The same sensor is also being used in front for selfies.
However, Amazon didn’t completely detail the device’s specifications. One key missing information is the On7 Prime’s battery capacity.

As I said earlier, the pricing and availability are yet to be announced. But considering that it has a better screen and front camera with the J7 Core, we can expect it to be sold in the Philippines at around Php12k. The J7 Core currently retails for Php9,990.
