The rumored Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has been confirmed by the company when it accidentally listed it on Samsung Philippines website.
If you remember, the Galaxy S10e from 2019 gave Samsung fans an option to get a flagship-like performance with stripped-off extras for a cheaper price. We didn’t get that on the Galaxy S20 and instead, we got a new and more expensive Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Now, it appears that Samsung is trying to fix that with the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The company is yet to make an official launch event for this device. However, it did appear on Samsung Philippines’ website, possibly by accident since it’s been taken down since then.
Albeit, it didn’t reveal much about the device. Well, other than confirming that it does exist and that has it has 128GB of storage. It will also be available in Cloud Navy and Cloud Lavander colors, a camera design similar to the Galaxy Note 20 series, a plastic-like back panel, a uniform bezel on the front, and a single selfie camera on a punch-hole.
As for the specs, rumors suggest that the screen will use a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be a cheaper option, but it should still get an Exynos 990 processor for the 4G-only model while the 5G variant will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.
The triple cameras on the back will consists of a 12-megapixel main camera with OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
It should also have a 4,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is expected to arrive in October.
