After teasing and hyping them for months, we’re getting closer to the next-gen consoles’ release. Now, Microsoft has finally revealed the official price of its upcoming gaming machine, the Xbox Series X.

The company announced that the Xbox Series X will have a price of USD499, or around Php24,200 when directly converted to Philippine pesos. It will be available starting November 10, 2020, with pre-orders starting on September 22. That’s USD200 (around Php9,700) more expensive than the smaller Xbox Series S.

For a quick recap, the Series X sports a custom AMD Zen 2 8-core CPU and custom AMD RDNA 2 GPU with 12TFLOPS of power with Ray tracing capabilities. It’s said that it can true 4K at 120fps and 8K ready.

It has a 1TB custom NVMe SSD, with extra slots for future storage expansion. There’s also the new Xbox Velocity Architecture that helps games utilize hardware and software better for faster loading times. You can learn more about the Xbox Series X here.

On the other hand, Sony is yet to announce the pricing and availability for the PS5. These details shall be revealed anytime soon as it’s also slated for a holiday release.
