SanDisk-1TB-USB-Type-C

The popularity of cloud storage hasn’t stopped manufacturers from coming up with new ways to innovate local storage solutions.

Showcased as a prototype in CES 2018, Sandisk’s new ludicrous USB-C flash drive has a whopping 1TB of storage inside it. And despite being a beta product, the report suggests that it is indeed working.

However, this isn’t the first time we’re seeing this kind of marvel in technology. Back in CES 2017. Kingston also announced their DataTraveler Ultimate GT flash drive. It has not only one, but 2TB of storage.

But still, what SanDisk was able to accomplish here is really relevant. For one, their flash drive looks smaller and more compact than Kingston’s.

Also, it entirely uses USB Type-C connectivity which is perfect for a lot of mobile users out there.

Just like most products shown in CES, its pricing and availability are yet to be announced. But hopefully, it will arrive in the first half of 2018.
